Why You Need a Denim Jumpsuit: Spring Look Part 1

It is finally spring!

Well, on paper that is. From what it seems, we’re all dealing with some kind of indecisive, not hot, not cold, kind of decent, oh but let’s add some heavy rainfall in the mix kind of weather.

Originally when I was styling this post I had grand plans in mind involving a pink romper, but as it goes, online shopping is sometimes a crapshoot in the dark when it comes to finding the right size. In hindsight, I was actually relieved that the romper was a no-go. Mornings in southern California at this time of year are low-key chilly.

As an alternative, I decided to go with one of my more successful purchases, this blue denim jumpsuit. While I enjoy layering and mixing pieces, at my core, I am lazy lol. I love jumpsuits just as much as I love dresses for this reason. If you’re short on time or just want to pull together a foolproof look, jumpsuits, rompers, onesies—whatever you choose to call them are the answer!

I love that denim can be minimalistic and simple, but also make bold and memorable statements. This spring, the denim on denim look is forever a fan favorite in my book.

**Style Tip**

Not sure which jumpsuit silhouette works best for you? Take a look at the type of pants you own, are they high waist? Flared? Do you favor more tapered styles? These subconscious wardrobe cues can help steer you in the right direction in finding the most flattering jumpsuit.

Head wraps are a great way to add an interesting and elegant pop of color or pattern to your outfit. They've become a staple accessory for me when I want to elevate a look, or when time is not on my side for me to do my hair.

I love that I see the check print showing up this season. It’s a style that can be worn easily dressed up or down.
